When measuring jet fuel conductivity, precision is not optional.

In aviation fuel operations, electrical conductivity is an important quality-control and safety parameter.

During pumping, filtration and handling, jet fuel can accumulate electrostatic charge. Adequate conductivity helps the fuel dissipate this charge and reduce the risk of potentially dangerous electrostatic potentials developing during fuel transfer and storage.

That is why accurate, reliable conductivity measurements matter.

A conductivity meter that is out of calibration can produce unreliable readings and compromise confidence in your quality-control, safety and process.

We were pleased to be in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the Gammon Symposium 2026, held on September 15–16.

As part of Trasfluid’s international business, we had the opportunity to exchange ideas with aviation fuel professionals from around the world, learn about the latest developments in fuel filtration and testing, and discuss the challenges our customers are facing today.

Trasfluid recently supplied the first Parker Meggitt F145-3 underwing fueling nozzle and two Trelleborg AEROKLER aviation hoses to NAUTILUS (an italian Into-Plane Operator) for the airport fuel depot in Rimini, Emilia-Romagna (Italy).
Trasfluid technicians subsequently conducted a training course for Nautilus staff on the operation and maintenance of the F145-3. The operators were extremely satisfied with its ease of use, lightweight design, and, above all, the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of its maintenance.

Back in December 2025 we carried out a technical training program focused on the correct implementation, operation, and maintenance of Meggitt underwing fueling nozzle Parker-Meggitt F145-3, in collaboration with SAFCO S.A. Athens airport, whom we would like to thank for their active participation.

In November 2025, our Product Specialists Elia Colocci and Lorenzo Vignoli, representing Trasfluid and JetFuelTest, visited the China headquarters of Parker-Meggitt to attend an advanced technical training program focused on the Meggitt product range.

During an intensive week of hands-on training, they acquired the expertise required to perform maintenance and repair activities on Meggitt couplers, underwing fueling nozzles, and valves in full compliance with manufacturer standards.

We are proud to announce that, following the successful completion of this program, Trasfluid is now officially recognized as a Parker-Meggitt Certified Maintenance & Repair Center.
