Technical Training on Meggitt F145-3 new underwing fueling nozzle in collaboration with SAFCO S.A. Athens International Airport
Back in December 2025 we carried out a technical training program focused on the correct implementation, operation, and maintenance of Meggitt underwing fueling nozzle Parker-Meggitt F145-3, in collaboration with SAFCO S.A. Athens airport, whom we would like to thank for their active participation.

The training was structured in two phases:
? A theoretical session focused on equipment operation, applications, and best practices in the field.
?️ A practical hands-on session dedicated to real operational scenarios, including operation and maintenance activities, as well as field component replacement procedures.
The training focused on the new F145-3 nozzle, highlighting its improvements in design, performance, and ease of use.

The F145-3 represents a significant evolution in refueling solutions thanks to:
✔️ More compact and lightweight design
✔️ High operational reliability
✔️ Enhanced safety features
✔️ Compatibility with existing systems
✔️ Optimized maintenance procedures

Since December 2025, SAFCO S.A. has been using the Parker-Meggitt F145-3 nozzle on a daily basis with excellent results, achieving full satisfaction both in operational performance and ease of maintenance.
The reliability, user-friendly design, and simplified maintenance procedures of the F145-3 have proven to be a valuable advantage in daily fueling operations.
Thanks to the positive experience with the F145-3, SAFCO S.A. has now decided to also introduce the 4” Parker-Meggitt F239 inlet coupler into its equipment fleet.
The first unit will soon be installed on a new Hydrant Dispenser currently under construction.

We are proud to support our customers with advanced fueling solutions designed to improve operational efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability.
These types of technical trainings are essential to strengthen field readiness, improve operational efficiency, reduce intervention times, and ensure the highest safety standards during fueling operations.
A great opportunity to share expertise, strengthen partnerships, and continue delivering high-level technical support to the aviation fueling industry.
